NWPPA is taking over the Winter at Renton Fish & Game Club. In addition to the matches on the second Saturday, we are planning matches to be run on three weekends not used by USPSA in the Winter.
Themes discussed are Single Stack (1911), Revolver, Rimfire, and Pistol Caliber Carbine. Vintage military handguns? Another Hand-Sized match?
The Saturdays reserved for the Winter specialty matches are November 23, January 25, and SATURDAY February 22.
Like the annual Hand-Sized Championship match, all ASI members will be welcome, we'll just score the special categories separately.

I was approached by a "black rifle guy", who said they shoot on the same Saturdays that we have reserved; it sounds like they can use either bay 1 or bay 3, and we can work around it.

We were fortunate to have long-time NWPPA member Ed Leavitt at the July match; Ed was a big contributor to the procedures we developed for low-light matches at Renton. We have a supply of G.I. flashlights with red filters, armband lights for individual shooters, illuminated muzzle safe point indicators, etc., and we were able to locate the stuff in the stats shack.
In conjunction with the Winter specialty matches, if there's sufficient interest, we'll try to schedule some evening shooting, too. Those competing in the pistol matches at the usual start time will set up the stages, and those shooting the evening match can tear them down.
I'm going to start a separate thread under "Winter low-light matches", and will post information specific to that endeavor, there.

The January 25 match will have Single Stack scored separately. Four, 12-14 round ASI stages.
"Single Stack" is 1911 pistol in any centerfire caliber.

Thanks to all who came out to help, today. We had quite a few new shooters, a good time appeared to have been had by all. For all the gloomy weather, I don't think it rained a drop during the match.
I just checked the scores.
Congrats to Martin for high overall and first Single Stack. SS finishers in 2nd through 12th place were separated by nine seconds!

No, Saturday. I seem to not be careful enough about the search results of "2020 calendar"; the first post in this thread originally had all the dates from 1987, or something.
The match is tomorrow, SATURDAY February 22.
